Twistisch II for two performers
This piece describes a ritual-turned-game where the two players perform a military-inspired dance around a vertical table, constructed specially for this piece. As the composition progresses, the two engage in a childlike game peppered by the darkness of formality and structure. The narrowness of the vertical table provides the illusion of contact between the two performers where none actually exists.
