Panik(bread) for 2 percussion, 2 pianos, and electronics
This piece was written during John Cage's centennial, and offers a hats-off moment as its centerpiece. Written for Yarn/Wire and commissioned by S.E.M Ensemble, the piece is an explosion of virtuosity coupled with a lighthearted view on the mundanity of practice, ultimately resolving as many nights with musicians do- watching YouTube.
